Tippy is throwing a hissy fit, which is to say, she’s walking up to me and meowing in this “hey, jackass, pay attention” kind of whiny tone.
So I checked the food, because that’s usually what she’s whiny about. There was half a bowl of dried food, but the water was done, so I assumed that’s what she was anxious about. Filled both up, mission done … “Meooooouh!”
“…!!!!”
I picked Tippy up and carried her into the kitchen, because sometimes when she’s hungry she just keeps crying “Where’s my food?” Tippy looked at the food, walked out of the kitchen, and mewled again.
So I took a look in the bathroom. Nope, cat litter’s still clean (I changed it yesterday or Tuesday).
Okay, so what … does … she … want?
She’s meowing again.
AAAAAAAAARGH!
Maybe it’s a diversion technique… Tippy distracts the bug stupid guy while Guy does something very very dastardly. They’re very tricky, those kitties.

She wants you to give her some lovin’. My cat Molly does the same thing. When her food bowl is full and her litter is clean and she meows a lot… she just wants to be petted.

Tippy doesn’t like being loved. Maybe she’s getting sentimental in her old age. Ususually she’s one of those “Hey, look, I’ll come to you, okay?” kind of cats.
