Once, when trying to help me fix my old HP, my friend Allison said, “Jeff, I think we need to defrag the computer.”

A puzzled look came to my face, and she would not stop laughing after I explained to her that I had no hand grenades, and instead of fragging it, if we were going to destroy it, that I would prefer to just beat the thing with a baseball bat anyway.

I tell you this to demonstrate my lack of anything resembling competance when it comes to computers (and lately, spelling too).

I have gotten a blue “error” screen several times in the past few weeks. Over the last two days, I’ve gotten it just about every five minutes.
