Many moons ago, I posted this thread — my attempt at modeling a Colonial Viper.
I was never happy with that attempt — blocky, clumsy, top-heavy, I felt. I built three of them, however — two in white, one with red markings, the other with yellow. A third was built from mostly dark gray bricks with light green markings. That one survives — the other two do not. I scrapped them for parts, for this:

You can view the entire gallery here. This craft has a much more militaristic feel to it, possibly due to those underslung missiles? Why, yes, I suppose if you’d read this post you could ask if I was arming myself for a huge Lego conflaguration, but, really, hah, I’ve only got the one ship …
… it was monsoon season?
Briefly observed that the Loch Raven is looking much better.
Also consolidated my errands: PetSmart for cat litter and Kohl’s for jeans turned into Target. Also made a run to DSW for new shoes, and nearly got killed by some jerk who apparently didn’t know he was going straight from a turn lane and that the lane he was going straight THROUGH was also a turn lane. Thanks bub.
York Road was closed between Railroad Ave. and Wight. That wasn’t fun because all the traffic was directed to Cockeysville Road and everyone apparently just forgot to go once they got there. On my way home, Warren was also blocked off — looked like utility crews were trimming trees. Great.
See, now I’m posting a lot as an excuse not to run my errands!
(And, yes, I’m violating my shopping rule again. Whatever, the cats need litter and I can’t function without milk and I still haven’t done any of my fall laundry so I need pants, too. Besides, I’ll have much cussing and swearing when I get it all done.)
My first introduction to Casablanca came on PBS, I think, roughly a year ago. I liked what I saw and eventually picked up the DVD from Record & Tape Traders shortly before Thanksgiving. I misread this article in The Baltimore Sun several days ago to the misinformation that a remake of Casablanca was in the works. Thankfully, no. Particularly with those two.
Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night, got out of bed, went to the living room, and napped on the couch for a short while before going back to bed.
Odd.
I promised myself that the first I’d do when I woke up would be to shower, dress, and out the door to run errands (cat litter, new jeans, milk). I woke up an hour and a half ago, and I’m sitting here at my computer. Pathetic.
(I did chase Tippy around the apartment. Well, that’s my daily exercise off the list).
The first nine minutes, online.
Yeah, I know, I’m “quiz happy!”
