March’s Blogger Happy Hour is scheduled for one week from today, and you can read all about it here, hosted by the fine Mr. Cheese and Mr. Thomas. I’m just going to repost the pertinent information, and let you read the sappy “Farewell to Matt Thomas” stuff on Cheese’s blog:
When — Saturday March 18, 2006
Where — Pickles Pub, 520 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21230
Bar phone — (410) 752-1784

Assuming I get there without getting lost, I’ll be buying the Alabama-bound a beer.
Headline clip from today’s USA Today.
More the “DOJ Fingers FBI” then the other stuff.
One word: disappointing, and pretty much from when the letters: “ONE YEAR LATER” appeared on the screen. The last two and a half hours of Battlestar Galactica strikes me as a throwaway story designed to boost the third season, but the problem is, so much has happened in that missing year, that I really feel like some of these people I just don’t know anymore, and am having a hard time sympathizing with them. Some of their roles in this “new world” seem a complete one-hundred-and-eighty degree jump from where they’d been only a few minutes earlier.
Assuming a majority of the third season focuses on our heroes getting back aboard their ships and resuming their fight-or-flight, while dealing with some of what they’ve been through on New Caprica, I think I’ll probably enjoy the third season.
But I won’t be holding my breath in awaiting that season.
