I’m so excited by this it is, in fact, a little sad.

Ashland Road deadends at York. For traffic moving to York, it used to be that the left-turn lane was the only option for southbound York, or for going straight into the Hampton Inn. The two main lanes turned right onto northbound York.

Now, the middle lane serves to direct traffic into the Hampton Inn, while also providing optional left or right turning for drivers.

This is really cool, because sometimes it could be a real PITA to make a left hand turn onto York from the Indy’s lot, so the only other option was to try to get into Ashland’s left-most lane, often very difficult, often forcing drivers to go north on York until they could turn around.

This is an excellent change. I’m so very very excited.
