typing fast

Although I was pretty sure CompSci was going to be an easy class from the get go, I’m surprised by how much I’m enjoying it. It’s more of a sociology class, anyway — the impact computers have on society and life. Thank goodness for Towson’s free wireless connection and for the ten minute break in this very absurdly late night course (7 to 9:30pm).

The musician next to me just said, “For typing with your middle finger, you type absurdly fast.”

Frustrated

An e-mail I sent to the Ben Cardin campaign:

I won’t be voting for Ben Cardin because of the promotional phone call urging my vote I just recieved. They’re annoying, disruptive, and an invasion of privacy. I don’t buy shit from telemarketers who call me, and I certainly won’t vote for a politician who does the same. I’m off to the polls — Kweisi Mfume hasn’t called me yet, so guess who’ll be getting my vote today? Good job.

Of course, I’m not a registered Democrat or Republican, so I’m pretty sure I can’t vote anyway, I just wanted to fucking vent. Cardin’ll probably win, and then I’ll get an e-mail from the Cardin campaign saying, “Who cares what you think?”

Bastards.
