If you didn’t make it, even for a short while, you missed a great night. I can’t remember the last time a Blogger Happy Hour had this large a turn-out, which proves one very important point to future hosts or co-hosts of a Happy Hour, and a lesson I wished I’d learned in time for the last time I hosted, which is to say, “e-mail, G-chat, and otherwise harass everyone in the local blogger community until they truly believe that if they don’t show you might just show up on their front door step buck naked and armed with a .357.” (Doesn’t mean I actually would’ve done that …)

I got there at 7:30, didn’t see anyone, was too embarassed to say in public, “Blogger” even though I asked broadsheet had I met her before, and left after two beers. Proceeded to have my night spoiled by an armed robbery a bit later.
