Do you know who Karyn Bosnak is? She’s the woman who began the SaveKaryn.com website a few years ago when she got laid off from her high-paying job and realized she was in some rather crushing credit card debt, which she’d gotten in feeding “her affection for buying designer-label products.”

You’re looking at $35.00 in quarters and dimes, courtesy of my last delivery last night, the old bat waaaaay out in the boonies who doesn’t seem capable of having a pizza delivered without inviting that poor pizza guy inside to meet the dogs and cat, to meet the husband, to meet the children, and who, no matter how many times I tell her my name (“What’s your name?” “What’s your name, again?” “Did you tell me your name?” “Who are you?”), can never seem to remember … (even though her husband, and her son, both have the same one I do.)

Thankfully, she’s at the very least a good tipper ($7 on a $27-some order). The seven dollars in dimes are going to go to CoinStar, but the $28 in quarters? Hell, that’s enough quarters to get me through two months worth of laundry.
