		<description>Back in the late 1970s when I was in 10th grade and Dinosaurs Still Roamed the Earth, I went to a Star Trek convention. They were a lot simpler then, since there wasn&#039;t any of the &quot;Kirk v. Picard&quot; debates going on at the time--the first film wasn&#039;t out yet (never mind TNG), and in fact wasn&#039;t even discussed by anyone as a definite project. 

One of the cool things all weekend was being able to see several episodes on the big screen in that hotel. And, of course, anytime a character fell to the floor, the whole room would chorus, &quot;He&#039;s dead, Jim!&quot; 

Episodes on the big screen are fun. If you watch &quot;Amok Time&quot; carefully you&#039;ll see the big lights above the Vulcan set soundstage, although I guess that&#039;ll get fixed in the remastering.</description>
