Doesn't matter if someone's done it before or not - there are only about 16 known plotlines to ever have come out of Hollywood. I won't quote them all here, that's why Al Gore invented the Internet. But if you can put a new twist on something old and make it yours, you've done something Right. Just ask Johnny Cash (via Ouija board). Everybody knows Trent Reznor wrote 'Hurt'. Everybody else knows Johnny 'owns' that song. Good luck with your idea. I'd read a draft of it, if I knew where to look.

Yeah, you don't get to vote this time around, even if you changed your registration right now. It's why I changed to be a registered democrat, so I could vote in the primary. It's really the only time your vote matters anyway.

To see the very first "under the vehicle" stunt - the one all the others have copied - watch "Stagecoach" (1939). The great Yakima Canutt created that stunt and to this day a knowing audience will chant "Yakima Canutt" as soon as they recognise the setup.

"*Neither am I a registered Republican, but I am a registered voter."

Don't sit out the primaries! Just figure out which party is more likely to have a competitive race and register with that one. That way, at least you'll have a say in picking one of the nominees.

I'm a libertarian at heart, but I've switched back and forth between Libertarian, Democrat, and Republican just about every election cycle. It's not like they make you take a loyalty oath or pay dues or anything.

I know it's too late for this primary, but register D or R for for the next one.

Oh, I remember liking Revelation Space. You might also dig Ken Macleod - it's politics and space opera together!

On the one hand, O'Malley endorsed Clinton, which could indeed backlash. At the same time, Dixon endorsed Obama - and who doesn't hate Dixon? You want her to have one in the favor bank? Ick. I changed from indy to Dem just to vote in the primaries but haven't gotten any new forms yet. Hope I get to vote.
