You would think that after the Star Wars Special Editions and the Star Wars Prequels, I would have learned not to get my hopes up when George Lucas fiddles with stuff.
But, no.

Just try processing it a bit.
At least they didn’t have Shia put on the fedora!
I half expected the Falcon to take off at the end. Kinda looked like footage recycled from Endor.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The trailer had me nervous, seemingly for good reason. I know I will end up seeing it anyways.

See, I thought it was fantastic. It’s moved to the #2 position for the Indiana Jones franchise.
Temple of Doom is still in last place.

This is a piece of garbage. George Lucas is all over this movie. What good is it to bring to life a wonderful franchise, only to be hell-bent on destroying it. If you ask me, he drinks way too much of his own Koolaid, and I doubt if I ever go see anything again that he brings to screen.
You really try to like this movie, but it gets so outlandish you just sit there waiting for it to end. I have absolutely no idea how any one could read the script to this movie and think it would look great on screen. Everyone who feared Harrison Ford was too old should have been worried that the word Lucasfilm attached to it.
