But who knows; perhaps they'll locate a niche that can't be filled by the other Big Box store or by Amazon. For what it's worth, when I was at Record World, Christmas Eve was a lot of fun to work simply <i>because</i> we were so busy. We'd do at least a typical week's worth of business between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The entire staff worked in the store and frankly I don't recall anyone complaining. We were exhausted at the end but in good moods. The 26th was a nightmare, though, because it was all returns. One way or another something is gonna change around the new year, and then you will have lots of options open to ya. Remember, you have a degree, a nice office job, and loads of experience.
