Yes, there are some racists in the GOP... but (until now) the two highest African-American appointments in Cabinet positions have happened in a Republican administration. And let's not forget how the Democratic Party has long held Robert KKK Byrd in godlike reverence. So, I think there's plenty of racism to go around.
